Are you ready to take your love for plants and herbal medicine to the next level? Join us for a deeper look into western-clinical perspective of herbal medicine. 'Materia Medica' is an important step to building an herbalists' knowledge of plants. 

In each six week series we will dive deep into 32 plants. You will learn: latin names, common names, ecological status, medicinal uses, dosage parameters and contraindications!  You can expect hands on learning as you smell, taste and play with the plants you learn!

Managing Seasonal Transitions with Ayurvedic Traditions

Every seasonal transition offers challenges and opportunities to our sense of balance. 

Ayurvedic medicine considers the seasons to be pivotal transition points of change, in this class Lusero will offer simple tips on how to reduce the aggravating qualities, and how to maximize enjoyment of the fall season. 

Working with understanding your body type, your work, your eating habits, in relation to nature, we will explore all of the unique possibilities for each individual. 

Included in the class is a seasonal spice blend to compliment this transition, specially curated by Lusero. As well as an Ayurvedic practitioner he is also an Ayurvedic chef! 

Bonus! You will learn a Vata reducing asana practice that will round off this beautiful fall class!

Sacred Cacao Ceremony

On the full moon window of each month Sept-Nov
Monday September 24, 7-9 pm
Tuesday Oct 23 7-9 pm
Sunday Nov 25 6-8 pm

If you have a BIG intention and you are attracted to the cacao (chocolate) bean join me and a small group of folks 1 night a month for 3 months. This is a great way to step into ceremony and ritual in a meaningful way! Intentions are magnified in group settings and the dates are within the full moon window of each month to add more magick!

Month 1 will be the lessons on the history and honoring the linage to this sacred tree. We will also set intentions, do a group meditation, journal time and I will do a group energetic clearing/activation.

Month 2 , we will also curate ritual oil and ritual powder and building the relationship with this sacred bean! We will discuss intentions set in month one and get even clear on what you want that to look like, journal time and I will do a group clearing and activation. We will also prepare the herbs needed for the ceremonial baths (you will take the bath at home before the ceremony).

Month 3 will be the actual cacao ceremony.

We will also create a sacred spaces each month so each of us can share what we are going through and I will channel any messages that need to come through for each of you! It will be powerful and healing in all the ways!

Includes: monthly lessons, group healing provided by me (Lesley, medicine woman and owner of sacred spaces), ALL materials needed for each month's 'class', the ceremony oil/powder and of course the last month's final ceremony.

6 Week Medicine Making Course

Let's play! You get to dive deep into making herbal preparations! It is one of the best ways to learn! Each week, students will learn to prepare and use: medicinal tea, nutritive vinegars, cough syrups, infused oils, salves and tinctures! The last week will be a 'show and tell'! My teacher did this when I went through my herbalist program and it was SO fun!! For the show n' tell you can choose your favorite medicine making way and treat the class to what you prepared!

Class includes the lessons on the 'how to', the herbs you need, jars, vinegar, alcohol etc.. I will have everything you need each week! Plus you get to take home what you make!

The Mother's Roost - 5 week Series

For centuries, women have gathered to assist each other during the process of pregnancy, labor, breast-feeding, as well as errands, house work, and meal preparation. This gives mom time to heal and bond with baby. Cultures around the world practice sacred ceremonies and traditions to support and heal the birth givers body. It is SO important to feel supported and loved during times of transition. The wise women before us knew this! Now we are calling all soul sisters, moms, new moms and moms to be. Let’s lift each other up. Let’s share our stories. And heal our bodies.

In this 5 week series workshop you will learn how to use a rebozo for support before during and after birth. We will make custom tea blends to help with most mother/women related issues. We will teach you self care and a variety of pain management techniques. on our last night a beautiful ceremony will be held to restore our bodies and heal our hearts.
